Rob graduated from the physiotherapy program at Queen’s University in 2002. But it was during his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology where his passion for movement and rehabilitation began. Rob’s career path started in Ontario, off to Australia for a chance to work with Olympic athletes, and then returning home to Vancouver. In 2010, with a progressive team of like-minded therapists, PhysioWorks was established to practice our vision of rehabilitation.

Rob’s treatment philosophy revolves around solving and correcting movement dysfunctions and imbalances. He integrates a strong manual therapy background with exercises and dry needling/acupuncture techniques. His ‘think out of the box’ approach has led him to explore the fascial and visceral systems to help him further understand the body’s complex movements. Collaborating with yoga instructors and his training in clinical STOTT Pilates has taught Rob to appreciate the importance of healthy movement in realizing your ideal lifestyle, no matter your age.

Some of his clinical experience includes elite athletes, neck/back injuries, ICBC injuries, post-operative rehab and TMJ pain. Rob has completed courses in advanced manual therapy, clinical STOTT Pilates, fascial and visceral systems, acupuncture, and running specific injuries. Outside the clinic, Rob enjoys family time at the beach and mountains, walking on the sunny side of the street and a good craft beer. You will often find him at the local playground climbing/hanging/running with his 2 boys.

Please note: Caroline is not accepting new or ICBC clients at this time

Caroline graduated in 2001 and began her career in Ontario. After working in many environments to gain experience with other forms of health practices she realized the connection with physiotherapy suited her well. Over the years Caroline has taken courses in sports massage, pre/post natal exercise and joint mobilizations. But in recent years she has gained an appreciation for lighter techniques involving deeper anatomical systems through Cranial Sacral, Myofascial and Visceral education. She finds understanding these deeper systems a helpful tool to address the more complex restrictions of the body.

Caroline’s style as a therapist has grown to integrate all of these techniques depending on client’s presentation of symptoms and their desired outcome. Some common issues seen by Caroline include headaches, post concussive disorders, chronic/acute pain, digestive issues, pre/post natal and of course general tension and postural misalignment.

Many clients attend massage for symptomatic relief but Caroline enjoys and takes pride in her preventative care and client education. Providing relief, helping realize the importance of a healthy mind/body and assisting clients achieve their physical goals is why Caroline has loved her practice for so many years. Working with people of all ages and abilities continues to challenge her as a therapist and motivates her continuing education. As a mother of two boys she always remains active and maintains her health by playing soccer, going to the gym and practicing yoga.
